The Boyz Visit Local Girl Scout Troop December 9, 2009

Well, I am very proud of Jesse, Hunter, and Brandon, they did their first Bunny presentation for a local girl scout troop (ages 6-8).

They opened the presentation with explanations of why each of them wanted to get started with raising and breeding Holland Lop bunnies.

They brought alot of materials of information for their presentation.  Their materials included:  A Billboard of weekly feeding and rabbit care.  Information on the certain foods and examples of the different types of food that our show rabbits eat.

The material also included information on the bedding materials we use.  They brought examples of the bedding materials so the girls could see and feel it.

Along with the materials of information, the boys also brought different Holland Lop bunnies and some babies for the girls to view.

After their presentation, they answered alot of breeding, rabbit care, feeding, and showing questions.

They also let the girl scouts pet and hold some of their prized bunnies.

What a great experience!

 GREAT JOB BOYZ!!!!

Hello All,

2008 was a great and interesting year!!

Alot learning and buying quality rabbits for breeding and showing.

The boys would like to thank everyone for there help and support in getting them started....

Thanks!!

2009

The boys are very excited about the new year.

We have started our breeding program and plan on showing our own home grown rabbits by the end of 2009.  Our first litter was a wonderful experience but sad, as she lost all three kits.  But, they have not given up for this experience has given the boys a determined will to try again.  They are very excited about having their own little ones to watch grow.

Our next litter is due in a couple of days she is already preparing for her kits to arrive.  It is her first litter so we hope all goes well!

We are preparing our bucks for PA Convention.  Hope to see you there.  We know we are a young rabbitry but, the experience itself will be all worth it.

Wish us LUCK!!!
